Sally Woodcock is an experienced LAMDA coach, private tutor and teacher, with twenty years experience in drama and education.
Following an early career in primary school teaching, Sally founded BANANADRAMA for Greenwich Schools, Connecticut - a programme for elementary studentsmodelling a drama-as-play therapeutic approach in support of child-centred creativity and development. Returning to the UK, Sally founded Horseshoe theatre coin Cambridge which staged and workshopped modern dramas from the UK school curriculum, bringing high quality professional theatre to thousands of GCSE and A Level students across the East of England and beyond. In 2016 she completed the Return to Teaching programme (Herts for Learning) and has run playwriting and improvisational programmes in secondary schools across London and Hertfordshire.
In her current role as Director of MESH Theatre Co, Sally runs highly-acclaimed drama-as-play workshops for students, cadets, scouts, historians and veterans in the context of conflict-related theatre.
